| If you are are
planning to use the New Jersey Turnpike (NJT), and you are
northbound, exit right after crossing
the Delaware Memorial Bridge at exit 1-B to get on I-295. Then,
almost immediately, take exit 2 to get on NJ-140 south (this is the
3rd exit after leaving the bridge). After you get on the other side
of the NJ Turnpike, this highway becomes US-40. Follow US-40 as it turns east and, eventually, heads south, through Sharptown, to Woodstown. Measuring from the stoplight in the center of Woodstown, go 4 miles on US-40 to CR-581 (Commissioners Pike) and turn right. Now go 1.3 miles to the next intersection, CR-615 (Woodstown-Daretown Rd), turn right and the campground is about 50 yards ahead.. If you are southbound, use exit 2, head northwest on US-322 to I-295 south. On I-295 go to exit 4, get on NJ 48 south. After you get on the other side of the NJ Turnpike, NJ-48 joins US-40. Continuing on this for about 2.6 miles. Now continue using the directions iin the second paragraph of the northbound directions, above. |
