| Head west on ME-157 and go 11.5 miles to Baxter State Park Rd. We were told that Bates Street, which becomes Millinocket Rd, eventually becomes Baxter Park Rd and the whole thing is referred to, locally, as Baxter Park Rd. ME-157 becomes ME-11 and is named Central St in Millinocket. After you get in town, watch for Highland Ave (about 11 miles from I-95). Central St bends 30° to the right at this intersection. Turn right (north) onto Highland, go 2 blocks to Bates St and turn left. We suggest you phone the campground for clarification. Sorry. | ||||||||
